The disc itself was in fine condition. I was very disappointed with the purchase. I don't think the cd should have been advertised as being in "like new condition." The music by Coldplay is great and the disc is definitely worth purchasing, particularly if you like all of their other cd's but don't own this one. However, it came in a clear plastic case. The seller described the product to be in "like new condition". I anticipated receiving the disc in the original packaging (along with the cover)as though it were purchased brand new from a store.
it literally gives me goosebumps (listen to "We Never Change" and reintroduce yourself to a Coldplay that undersings, underplays and sounds flat amazing). Simply fantastic. Perhaps in this order:ParachutesX&YRush of Blood to the HeadViva La Vida/Propekt's March EP Other Coldplay albums are also well worth picking up. Coldplay has scored with all of their albums, but this is far and away their best. I think what sets it apart is it's careful attention to vulnerable melody.
Coldplay albums never seem to disappoint. A great album with hit songs and includes my personal favorites: sparks, yellow, and trouble.
Just wishing to see them in concert wasn't so expensive. I love 99% of all the songs on their albums including this one. Jeez. What can I say. I love Coldplay and they can do no wrong.
Favorite tracks include "Don't Panic", "Shiver", and "Trouble. I have 3 of Coldplay's CD's and I must say "Parachutes" definitely beats the other two hands down.
